A lawyer by training, he has been actively involved in community mobilization and participation activities for 35 years at various levels. He has extensive experience in promotion, training and management of Self Help Groups (SHGs) and has successfully linked SHGs to Community Development and Continuing Education Programmes. He was instrumental in developing and executing the Total Literacy Campaign of the Government of Karnataka involving Government agencies, NGO’s, private sector and general public. This campaign has been widely acclaimed to be one of the most successful literacy campaigns in India. Mr. Halambi has been actively involved in projects such as the National Literacy Mission, Post Literacy Projects and Continuing Education projects in the State of Karnataka.

Mr. Ananth Ravi advises MokshaYug Access on finance related matters. He has led the Project Finance team of Reliance in the financing of billion dollar projects in telecom, petroleum and retail sectors. He was also instrumental in setting up the Reliance’s telecom venture, Reliance Infocomm operations in Karnataka. He brings to MYA, his vast experience in project management and finance. |

Mr. K.V. Ramani advises MYA on strategy and finance.
He is a Professional Banker with over two decades experience in State Bank of India, India’s largest Commercial Bank and SBI Capital Markets, India’s premier Investment Bank with expertise in Credit, International Banking, Project Evaluation and Appraisal, Development Banking and Investment Banking, including raising resources thru’ IPOs.
Ramani has acquired a niche expertise in rural finance and an appreciation of national level issues in extending development finance in rural and semi-urban India. - during his five years of operational experience in the SBI in administering and managing rural finance and development packages and inclusion of poorest of poor. He was involved for over seven years in apex level policy making and administration of Agriculture and Rural Development portfolio of the SBI, the pioneer in Development Banking in India, when he also worked closely with NABARD, RBI and other apex level Institutions.
Ramani has represented SBI in many International conferences and events, including the Cambridge Seminar on Financial Services, Cambridge, U.K., sponsored by the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London, the International Seminar on Management of Development Finance Institutions sponsored by Asia Pacific Regional Agricultural Association in KL, Malaysia, Agricultural Input Marketing Programme sponsored by the IIM, Ahmedabad etc., to mention a few.
In private sector, Ramani was associated with the Project Services Associate of a reputed $ 1.5 billion company - the Indian flagship of a transnational group for over nine years and was elevated as President - Financial Services. He specialized in joint ventures, financial / contractual structuring for large projects and Mergers & Acquisitions.
Travelled widely abroad on business visits (U S A, U K, Europe, Middle East, South East Asia, Russia etc) he has specialist experience in developing overseas markets for Indian investments and evolving entry strategies for overseas investors in Indian projects.
With an innovative approach, he has the ability to provide creative solutions to complex finance and business issues and agreements. With wide contacts, he networks at high levels with Government, Corporates and International / Financial institutions. |

Raman Mangalorkar has over fourteen years of industry and consulting experience with international corporations in the Retail, Consumer Products and Sports & Entertainment industries. His areas of expertise include designing growth strategy, transforming supply chain and managing large scale program in Retail and Consumer industries.
Some of his key consulting assignments include: conducting a comprehensive market assessment of a department store and related retail environment to evaluate its strategy and develop a turnaround plan; developing a strategy for a large specialty retailer and facilitating implementation; benchmarking leading procurement practices for a consortium of American and European retailers; defining the vision, strategy and implementation program for the commercial business of a paper company; developing and implementing a pricing strategy incorporating both structure and process for a consumer products company focused on the tissue industry; evaluating a range of options to change the structure and format of the game for an international sports entity, developing a comprehensive strategy to support the organization mission for a global sports governing body.
Some of Raman’s key publications include: “Can Department Stores Stage a Comeback?” – department stores can recapture a fair share of the retail sector; “Making Procurement a Priority” – excellence in procurement in the retail industry; “The New Sports Consumer” – who they are, what they want.
Prior to joining A.T. Kearney, Chicago in 1997; Raman worked with Federal Mogul for two years and completed his Masters in Business Administration from Indiana University with specialization in Finance and MIS.
Raman moved to A.T. Kearney India in December 2005 and currently heads A.T. Kearney’s Consumer Industries and Retail Practice in India.
